My Story →
Keith had given me a brand new camera as a gift. I was armed with rolls of film, and could not have been more excited. I took tons of photos of my favorite city but when I came home and picked them up from being developed, every photo was terrible. I wanted to cry. I was very sad and a little bit mad. But I learned a lesson.
I knew I never wanted this to happen again. I wanted to be able to retell the story of my travels - and remember these moments in my heart, as they had really happened. The sights, the sounds, the smells. The way it felt to be there.
So my travel photography journey began.
I have loved to travel my entire life. I describe myself as a Flâneuse, always wandering, discovering, meandering and telling stories with my camera.
But photography wasn't always that easy for me. I know exactly how it feels to be let down (in my case broken - hearted) by crappy travel photos.
It all started almost 25 years ago on a once in my younger lifetime trip to Paris with my then boyfriend (now current husband!).
